Can we book dinner at Moul Creek Lodge?

Yes, we offer a daily changing menu for a surcharge. The reservation have to be made by email a minimum of 1 week in advance. 

Can we book for one night?

For environmental reason we don’t take guests for one night. A minimum stay of 2 nights is required. We recommend staying 3 nights so that you can explore a minimum of the beauty Wells Gray Park has to offer.

Is parking available?

Yes, we have three spaces for cars in front of Moul Creek Lodge.

How far is it to Wells Gray Park and famous waterfalls?

We are surrounded by parkland. It is a 10 minutes drive to main entrance of Wells Gray Park.
To Moul Creek Falls trailhead it’s 3 km, to Dawson Falls 17 km and to famous Helmcken Falls 22 km.

How far is it to Clearwater?

We are 25 km away from town of Clearwater, it is a nearby 25 minutes drive.

How far is it to reach a Restaurants/Stores?

Closest restaurant is 3 km at a nearby Ranch. You have to drive back to Clearwater (25 km) to have a choice of restaurants. There is a supermarket, several gas stations and a liquor store also. 

Do you allow pets?

No, we don’t allow pets on our property. But we do have a resident cat.

Are you located on a paved road?

Yes, our driveway is connected to the Clearwater Valley Road, which is a paved road.

Should we bring mosquito repellant?

Yes, during summer season it is recommended to use.  

Do you have cell reception at Moul Creek Lodge and Wells Gray Park?

No, we don’t. Cell reception is covering Clearwater and up to Spahats Falls/Trophy Mountain access on Clearwater Valley Road, from us 11 km down the road towards Clearwater.  

Do you accommodate children?

Moul Creek Lodge offers a quiet accommodation for guests 15+ years.  

How is the Clearwater Valley Road condition in winter?

The road is most of the time snow covered but plowed up to Helmcken Falls. Between October and April Winter tires are mandatory and 4WD is recommended.

Terms and Conditions

Reservations

A non-refundable deposit of $50.00CAD per night per room is due at the time of booking. A valid credit card (Visa or Master) can be used to pay the deposit. The credit card must be valid minimum until the day of check-out. As soon as we receive the credit card details and we can process the payment your reservation is confirmed.

Length of stay

We require a minimum stay of 2 nights

Cancellations

We hope you do not need to cancel, but if your plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible.

We are a small business and all cancellations impact us greatly. When we reserve a room for you, we turn away all other inquiries for those nights because we have agreed to hold them just for you. As such, for any type of refund to be considered, please email your cancellation and get an email response to make sure your cancellation notice was received.

From time of booking up to 31 days prior arrival $50.00CAD per room and night is a nonrefundable deposit. 

Between 30 days and 15 days prior arrival 50 % of total amount will be due. Within 14 days prior arrival and for No Show we charge 100 %

We recommend to have a trip cancellation/interruption insurance in place.  

Check-in & Check-out Time

Check in time: between 04:00 pm – 06:00 pm

Check out time: between 09:00 am – 11:00 am

Please note that we are only a small B&B operated by ourselves and not a hotel with 24/7 reception.  For this reason, we can only accommodate earlier or later arrivals with prior arrangement. We always welcome our guests in person and guide them to their room. Especially when you pre-booked dinner, please let us know you can’t make it in time, so we can plan. 

Children & Pets

Moul Creek Lodge offers a quiet accommodation for guests 15+ years.

Moul Creek Lodge don’t accommodate pets. If guests arrive with pets they will not be permitted to check-in.  Cancellation policy will apply.

Smoking & Vaping

Smoking or vaping of tobacco or cannabis, etc. is not allowed anywhere inside Moul Creek Lodge or on the outside decks. Please ask your hosts for permission where you can smoke. If smoking has occurred inside the buildings, a cleaning fee of $200.00CAD will be charged during or after your stay.

Privacy Policy

To maintain your privacy, your personal and credit card information is not communicated to others.

Damage to Property Policy

Staining or damage of bed linen or towels, etc., resulting from the use of body oils, make-up, etc. may result in the need for special cleaning, repair or replacement of the damaged article charged to your bill.  Please be mindful of these and similar products around linen.

Wet Laundry Items

To prevent damage to indoor furnishings, hanging of wet laundry is permitted only in the shower or outdoor deck area.

Mosquito and other Sprays

To prevent damage to indoor furnishing, it is not allowed to use any kind of sprays indoors.

Damage Notification

It is expected that guests notify their hosts, prior to departure, of any damage to the property or structure of Moul Creek Lodge during their stay.

Damage caused from deliberate, negligent or reckless acts will result in a charge to guest’s credit card in an amount equal to the cost to remedy such damage, including any loss of bookings as a result of repair time.  Every effort will be made to keep repair/replacement costs to a minimum.

Cooking or heating of strong smelling food in rooms will result in a $200.00CAD cleaning fee charged to guests credit card.
